This intense, hands-on two day program is designed for aspiring moderators and users of qualitative research who need an in-depth understanding of the process.
New to this program is an Innovation module that provides instruction in a basic suite of Innovation tools that can be applied to qualitative research methods.
Program highlights include:
- 12 hours of classroom instruction

Instruction and review of the moderating process from project initiation, design, through to reporting and presentation
- Instruction in moderator techniques (powerful questioning, skillful listening, laser questions, narrative and guiding tools)
- Instruction and practice of a suite of basic Innovation tools that have application in qualitative research
- Total of 2 hours of practice moderating in a real focus group setting with extensive coaching and feedback
In addition, you will receive:
- Group and Individual Coaching (1 hour for each coaching session) following the program.
- DVD recording of practice moderating
sessions
- A comprehensive workbook, handouts and resource materials.
